Why is two better than?

Have you ever asked yourself-why is two better than one? This question is hypothetically quite intriguing and challenging to me at first but after using my rational thoughts to decipher this phrase, I had finally made up all the best conclusions to support the phrase. I would like to take this opportunity to compare my answers with a very powerful being. Ok,so why not just use a few sources as a references to compare our answers?

Why is two better than one?

MY ANSWER
Let me be rhetorical here so I can contradict Ben the ****** in my English class. btw you gave us hell lot of homework and I havent even finish test 1. Fuck you niggar!
=Are balls important to men? Of course most men would say yes. And to further add on another point, can men ejaculate with one ball? Yer..I can't imagine that. SO,we need TWO balls. Thus, two is better then one!!
Secondly, how many tits do women have? 2,of course. No offense to those women who only have 1(due to breast cancer). But technically with two boobs,a woman's partner will have something to hold on while he's busy-uh hum-reproducing. Moving on,how many people can there be in a couple? Of course two. Unless you're planning for threesome which can sometimes be fucking tiring as they use to say three's a crowd. Lastly, think of all the minor things around you.How many eyes, ears, or wives(one legal another illegal) do you have? Mostly two,of course.

GAY PEOPLE's ANSWER

To avoid issues of polygamy and bisexuality, proponents of gay marriage implicitly assert that the number "2" is the magical element of marriage, beyond which one need look little further. For example, David Brooks would define marriage as an "exclusive commitment" of 2 persons without regard to the partners' sex. That definition, an "exclusive commitment of 2 persons," is incomplete. For there is nothing about the number 2, in and of itself, that makes an "exclusive commitment" of 2 persons deserving of special social status not accorded to an "exclusive commitment" involving three or more persons of whatever sex for whatever purpose. Society's granting the special social status of "marriage" to exclusive commitments of 2 persons, while denying that special status to exclusive commitments of more than 2 persons, can be justified only to the extent that the limitation serves some social good that is not served by arrangements involving a greater number. So one must ask, "Exclusive commitment for what purpose? What is the social purpose served by society's granting special status to exclusive commitments of two persons that is not as well served by exclusive commitments of three or more persons?"

WESTERN HETEROSEXUALS ANSWER:
To preserve the special status of the number 2 with regard to the "exclusive commitment" of marriage, society must take children into account. Children are a naturally cohering end of marriage. As the fruit, the focus, and the beneficiaries of a couple's joined efforts, children secure the bonds of marriage. And marriage in turn serves and protects children. Society must resist the complacent inclination to formally accept as "marriage" whatever arrangement two (or more) persons of whatever sex happen to want to receive that designation, beginning with the vague notion that marriage is "an exclusive commitment of 2 persons."

BIBLE's ANSWER:

"Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help lift him up."
-- Ecclesiastes 4:910 Bible

IN conclusion there are many theories or answers to explain the phrase"two is better than one".
Clearly in my own opinion and based on the reasons that I state, I would support the statement above. However what do you think of it?
