Small progress, but still progress

I feel obliged to share some of my progress here. It is officially 7 months since I started working out. To my friends who are interested in having a decent figure, I hope you can learn something from me, although I am still a novice in weightlifting(or also known as 'angkat besi' in Malay)

This is a photo of me before I started working out.

Arms size: 12"

Weight: 66kg
Waist 32"
Chest: Est. 35-36"

Then after 4 months, I bulked up a lot to nearly 75kg( 9kg gain). Nitrotech helped me to achieve that. But the shape was pretty bad and estimated bodyfat is around 20%-21%.

Moving on, two months later(6 months in total), I reduced my weight a bit to 73kg. My bodyfat also got reduced to between 16-17% and the partial outline of the abs can been seen without flexing. However, I became stronger despite a reduced weight due to more muscle mass.

This is how I look now

Arms size: 14.7"(increase a lot due to the emergence of my biceps peak)
Weight: 73kg
Chest: 40"

Reasons why my progress wasn't good:
1. I did too much of biceps curl in the first 3-4 months so I abandoned my other body parts.
2. I took the wrong supplement. I should have taken mass gainer instead of whey so that I can gian more mass faster.
3. I never did legs until recently, hence my deadlift is pretty weak.
4. Not serious during workouts and I never listen to my mentor.
5. I did not research at all about weight-lifting. so I do not know what I am doing.

I hope I can learn from my mistakes. One friend of mine, James Wong(from the same gym), progressed from 60kg to nearly 70kg in 5 months and he is much stronger than me now. He is a very focused person and people in gym called him 'budak rajin'. I hope I will be more diligent like him so I can progress faster. 6 months from now I will post my progress again :).
